A&B Transmission and Automotive Service was started in 1948 by Andrews and Bates. The shop was originally located at Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino until it was moved to its current location on 5th Street in 1956.
A&B is family owned and operated. Now in its 2nd generation, Dan Smith has operated the business since 1978.
A&B Transmission and Automotive Service is going strong after more than 60 years in business; now with seven (7) full-time ASE certified mechanics.
A&B is large enough to provide a full range of services and complete your repairs quickly; yet small enough to provide individualized service.
